Establishing a Drug Treatment Court in Your Community

Each Drug Treatment Court in Canada is composed of a partnership between the judicial system and one or more addictions treatment service providers. Partnerships with probation, housing, health services and others are also common components of a Drug Treatment Court.

In Canada, DTCs have been established with the aid of Federal funding from the Department of Justice, and there are also Drug Treatment Courts that function without Federal funding.

If you are interested in starting a DTC in your community, please contact a CADTC Board member from the list below for more information.
